London 3th of august Day1

This blog is about my 2day trip to London stansted/London central

on the 3th of august I stood up at 5am in the mo

rning, t

o get everything ready for my trip, and Dir en grey.

I got picked up by my friend and her mom at 6.30 and then we went to the airport,

at 7.45 I had to pick up my

most beloved friend (my sissaJellyLove) from the station at the airport

(I had some White latte mocha Starbucks in the meanwhile!)

there we went to the check in near the gates, and waited a bit till we decided to get ready to go in,

In the meantime AJAX randomly showed up, and I was like..not paying attention, straying at one of the players going all " don't I recognize him from somewhere?"

anywho, I don't care about soccer, I just recognized the guy from tv, and decided to take a pic because I could…

There ya go..it's a picture of the guys I don't know…the other guy was still in the bus and I couldn't care to much to take a picture of that too.

after they went in, we went in too, and tried to find our gate,

it was quite a bit chaotic, and I was pretty damn nervous because it was going to be my first time in the airplane,

after going trough customs (thank god I didn't have to go trough any extra checks, unfortunately Jelly's bag had to be checked, poor girl) we had to found our gate, but the departing sign was still on " wait please"

so in the meanwhile I could check out the airplanes outside, as I got to look at them I started to feel a lil bit less scared of them, though I was still nervous as hell to go in.

finally our departing gate was notified, and we could go to our plane,

since it was a Jet we had to go in by small stairs outside, god that

was a little bit scary

inside the plane I lolled a lot at the security signs since the illustrations were kind of stupid, one of them even looked as if it wanted to say "well Im going to jump out of the airplane now bye!"

after some waiting, and some explanations on how the security works and all, the plane started to move, and I became seriously nervous, starting to skim a bit trough a magazine, not trying to pay attention to the window, yet that didn't work and right when the plane took of I looked outside and almost shitted my pants,

I had to fight my tears, but as soon as we got up I actually liked the view, and started to lose my fear a bit.

I even had the guts to make pictures!

the flying only took 10 mins, the whole taking off, and landing too

k much more time,

when we arrived in london we went to the train, but it was to goddamn expensive so we took a bus instead,

the bus took about an hour but the view was really pretty, so I decided to spent the hour taking pictures of houses and stuff

after an hour we got in london Baker street, and from there we had to find our Hostel, we decided to walk, not knowing it would be that long of a

walk, but oh well its healthy to walk.

we got lost a couple of times, so I had to put on my Google maps on my phone, Gorsh im so glad I had that on my phone, helped us quite a bit,

after walking for god knows how long we finally arrived at our Hostel at 1Pm, we checked in, unfortunately we had to wait an hour before our room was ready, and we really didn't want to wait any longer, we wanted to go straight to KOKO

So we dumped our stuff in some Lockers, went to the toilets, and went towards KOKO.

also towards KOKO we decided to walk, and it was taking us another hour.

but the walk towards there was quite fun, I got approached by some old creepy guy telling me I was pretty, also sending us the wrong direction, but we found out quick enough so we didn't have to walk so much more extra.

finally at KOKO we saw a lil line standing already, but thank god it wasn't all that big yet, another old guy came my way and I went like "oh god not again" but luckily he only wanted to ask me w

hat band was playing at KOKO because he had never seen so much dedication towards a band before, I told him that whenever or where ever Dir en grey performs, its ALWAYS like that, sometimes even bigger lines!

while waiting in the line I met someone from Deviantart, Emily, who I was already hoping to see as we talked to each other on deviantart about that day and how we could recognize each other,

also it was really fun meeting her, I got to chat in english, and she came up with a good idea to to spend our time waiting: waving at busses that are passing by!

And..count all the waves and everything we will get from the people inside the bus.

Also our total came to(I believe):

1 kiss (that guy was awesome!)

and a lot of of "wtf" faces

oh and 1 camera shot!

and I got a wave from a cute asian who was walking on the other side of the street, he was looking at the line, and I waved and..I think it startled him a bit, but he decided to wave back anyhow, and it was CUTE!

Also Emily filmed the line and I walked along with her, and we got filmed a couple of times by people filming the line, including one of the Dir en grey roadie's whatsoever who was filming(I believe she even filmed us twice or 3 times or so)

Oh and I have a picture of a police officer giving the Diru Van a Ticket! xD

oh and the guy in the video with the curly hair and looking all scary, he showed up multiple times, and he even managed to buy a ticket because later that night he showed up at the concert xD!

Well after the concert we went to the artist exit ofcourse, waiting there for another hour, hoping my camera wouldn't die,

I completely froze when they came out of the doors and only remembered to film and stare,

and Kyo was hiding behind toshiya, so I really didn't expect him to come 3th..so I forgot to stick out my hand, was completely nailed down to the ground and just stared, I stared so much at Kyo and Toshiya, and kept thinking "oh my god they just walked infront of my own eyes" that I later noticed that I never remembered Shinya coming out, I only remember Die coming out last, and then I suddenly stuck out my hand though they were already gone*im SO stupid*

but I kept thinking "where the heck is shinya..I don't think i've seen him"

but seeing the video at home I figured he was there, I just..didn't see him because Kyo got me blinded!

well our way back to the Hostel was quite something,

me and Jelly were just walking, not seriously caring where we'd go, and the other 2 of our group were trying to find the way,

all me and Jelly complained about was about wanting to drink, and have some food(especially me)

also me and jelly were seriously fucking retarded at that moment, laughing and acting silly, like..there was this AWESOME CUTE ASIAN BOY in front of me, and I started waving at him (probably looking like a drunk maniac) and he just glared, turned around and..ell almost ran away xD

I think I even got nearly hit by a car because I just crossed the street without caring where the cars would come from(damn that car thing was confusing in London)

we got lost , and somehow ended up at King's cross, but found a Mac donalds still open there, so YAY food!

I didn't have food since 10am or so! and no drink since 7PM, and it was already midnight when we arrived xD

I ordered a Filet o fish, and some diet coke, and seriously I felt as if Dir en grey had given me hundreds of orgasms and like I had some extreme sex, so I just shove the burger up my mouth, chewed, swallowed, and looked like an animal doing that, I didn't even got the taste of it. it was gone before I knew it xD

from King's cross we knew we were close to the hostel, so we tried again, while walking we saw a couple, or..whatsoever anywho, they were asian, and the guy was CUTE, and I was still silly, so i was OBVIOUSLY pointing at him, and the girl looked back, right at me, and I was like " oh shit" and then she came our way, and I was all like "oh fuck now we have it!" but then she asked us if we heading for the hostel, and showed us where to go, and so..we found it!

Yay!

and then after a cigg, trying to find some more drink and failing at that, we were off to sleep!

Dir en grey KOKO London Review

Ok where to start.

It was quite a long day, had to travel to england, find the hostel, find the venue, walk ALOT, stand in line really long, but...it was all WORTH IT!

so we arrived at KOKO around 2pm, and there was already somewhat of a line, we decided we'd take place at the pub around the corner of the entrance*so pretty close you can say*

around 4pm Dir en grey arrived at the venue, and I didn't even pay attention, so while the tourbus was unloading, I suddenly noticed al the commotion and as I looked around too look I sudenly saw Kaoru and Kyo walking by, only 2 meters away from me! and Kyo looked around, at that moment, I felt like an idiot for not listening to my friend I met in line and went closer with her, else I could have actually seen them in front of me!

Anywho, I still saw them too *I missed the rest, they were already in* and I really couldn't help but scream of joy!

that was the first start of an experience i've never had before because in the Netherlands they slip in trough the back where no one can see them, or they're meters away sheltering behind glass.

from that moment i felt that this was going to be an amazing night!

hours passed, while waiting in line, the doors to the stage were open a bit so we could hear the sound checks and there was this japanese roadie that was peeking trough the door, pulling a weird face, and I decided to wave at him, and the closed the door some, and gave me a secret wave back, then me and me friend decided to wave at him some more but, he didn't feel like waving some more so unfortunately he closed the door and the soundcheck suddenly faded.

another 2 hours passed, and finally the moment was there, the last hour till the doors opened,

everyone stood up, the Dir en grey photographers showed up, other photographers showed up, a japanese girl appeared with a camcorder, and walked passed the line and we all waved!

(come to think of it, I saw her twice and waved straight into the camera twice, and I think i can be found on youtube a zillion times by now from all the people filming the line)

The last hour seemed to last forever, every 20 minutes we moved 3 steps forward, and eventually the doors opened 15 minutes or so late, but when the doors finally opened things went more smoothly and before I knew it I was inside.

I walked with my friends towards the balcony, the middle one 1st floor

and had this excellent great view over the entire stage, not to far, just about right to see everything, and see the entire crowd downstairs!

(Because of all the traveling and all I'm happy I didn't go in the crow below, I'm pretty sure I would've fainted)

another hour, or hour and a half passed, waiting at that balcony, listening to some metal music that was on, and seriously, I think they put on 1 cd and on repeat because there were some songs I heard like 3 or 4 times...

but the venue was really looking absolutely BEAUTIFUL inside, and I could spend some time on observing everything, the beautiful decorations on the ceiling and stuff.

I became so tired of waiting, and the crowd was yelling Dir en grey..and i'm sorry to say, but those english people really sound whiney when they shout " DIR EN GREY"

it sounds like " DIR EN GREEEEEEEEEY DIR EN GREEEEEEYYY" and what I'm used to is a powerful short shout repeated over and over, getting all pumped up like " DIR EN GREY! DIR EN GREY! DIR EN GREY!" while swinging up our fists.

Finally the sound technicians showed up, made everything ready, and there it was was,

SA BIR.

It was finally starting!

I don't remember quite who showed up first (or the set list) but Kyo came in last, Looking all cool in his black clothings, with his designer glasses, and I could notice right away, he was already having a good time!

He pulled of his designer glasses, and they started playing RED SOIL, within just a few minutes, everyone started headbanging, screaming, shouting, and from where I was standing, no anoying people behind me pushing me forward, so i was really comfortable, and could fully enjoy everything, Agitated scream of maggots came, more headbanging, Toshiya was pumping up the crowd, not only the crowd on the floor, but also the balcony crowd, it was AMAZING!

I remember Hageshi being played, and Inconvenient Ideal, no Toguro unfortunately, but he did his little Toguro dance on Inconvenient Ideal,

and wow Kyo was looking GOOD, it was really easy to see he really did some trainging, his tummy was almost a sixpack again, and he looked really good and healthy.

Also his voice was simply AMAZING this show, NO note was sang wrong, and with Inconvenient Ideal, and Vinushka, he sang to the highest note he could, and everytime he got that highest note on the top of his lungs, the entire crowd would clap and cheer! and Kyo smiled, and did it AGAIN, for 3 times in a row, and everyone would clap and cheer, clap and cheer, that must have given Kyo a wonderful feeling!

The Encore came,

they came back to give us 3 more songs,

The final, ZAN, and rasetsukoku, ZAN!!!! I couldn't believe it, I finally saw ZAN live, and it was GREAT, I really love the new ZAN, it's really an improved music composition!

After ZAN, Kyo shouted " RAST SONG " In the Netherlands, he had never talked to us, but in england he did, he shouted last song for about 5 times, and then they started playing rasetsukoku, after that.. they started throwing water bottles, Kyo was throwing 2 water bottles over the crowd, with a big smile on his face..He really enjoyed this crowd! and so did the rest of them, Toshiya, Kaoru, Shinya and Die, all stayed longer on stage that I've ever seen with my own eyes, throwing their stuffs like Picks and drumsticks into the crowd..Die actually looked hot for a moment when he was siting on a speaker with a towel over his head going all " oh yeahh~"

and then they went off, and it was over.

I wanted to buy some merch, but found the Merchandise store already closed

WTF WAS UP WITH THAT! that really kinda pissed me off, also I heard that the merch store was pretty minimal, but still, I WANT THE FUCKING TANKTOP.

So..im not so happy about that part, and im still going to buy the fucking dir en grey tanktop, THERE.

I walked outside, and as planned I went towards the artist exit..unfortunately, everyone knew where it was, so there were already a lot of people. still I had a great spot, right at the fence, knowing that if they would come out it would only be 50CM between us! *dies*

the entire street was filled with fans, bodyguards, security, and people passing by, and busses passing by, all were like "WTF is that?"

we waited, and waited, and I was really really EXHAUSTED...but I REFUSED to leave before having a glimpse of them.

My camera(phone) was almost out of battery, and I was like " oh god don't die please"

the artist exit door opened several times, making us lift up our camera's and then come to notice it's only someone else.

They were loading the tourvan *it wasn't really a bus.. o.O*

and then parked it more at a convenient place so they could run into it quicker and flee from the fans xD

and then..THEY CAME!

I pressed record quickly on my phone, and was completely MEZMERISED.

TOSHIYA AND KAORU JUST WALKED BY ME , 50CM INBETWEEN!

and I forgot to stick out my hand, and I really regret that,

because behind Toshiya, WAS KYO, and I dint notice quick enough, so before I knew it he was walking infront of me, and I froze, and the guy next to me stuck out his hand, and Kyo gave him a cool handclap, walking off to the van, and I ..was FROZEN..and they guy next to me was like the biggest fanboy I have ever seen going all " OH BOY OH BOY OMYGODOMYGODOMYGOD!

I completely forgot about the rest, still frozen I seemed to have recorded Shinya and Die too, but I don't remember seeing Shinya really..only Die because by then I came to my senses again..and stuck out my hand..what an idiot, they were all already gone, so I was a bit late..but still I have it on video!

That..was a great experience, and I will NEVER forget it!

Toshiya looked so good, and oh i can almost cry that I just looked into the faces of my basshero and LifeHero(Kyo)

Dir en grey, in KOKO London, was probably the BEST experience I've ever had so far, Though I can't help but say I liked the concert in Tivoli better because I was at front last year,

but still, this night WAS GREAT, and they performed like..wow..I don't know to find the right words for it!

I changed my room!

yay

My bed was in an annoying part of my room where there was a bit of space behind it where in the middle of the night I would lose my pillows...causing me some sleep troubles.

besides I wanted something else, something that suits me better,

1. im lazy so I want the tv at my bed end, not the other side of the room

2. i wanna read more books but don't have a comfortable place to read, or place my bass

3. i wanted more space in my room so it wouldn't be so crowded when people would come over

so I created a lounge corner formyself, and I absolutely love it!

All i want is some black and white pain since i never got to pain the room and it's still the way when i first started renitng it, and it's still in the awfull colors of the previous person who lived in it, I love the yellow though, it suits my furniture, but i think with some black and white it will all be one nice contrast!

just hate the thought i'd have to move my furniture again when painting but bah...it HAS to be done...

Look it's my diru wall of fame!

the wall behind me is completely empty so to start filling that up my goal is to buy a new trophy in London next Tuesday!

Gawrsh im so exited, my 3th time seeing diru live! an first time in a foreign country <3;

I hope vinushka will be played, and Hageshi , and most of all, ZAN! <333333

Came across a few good ones, one that definately hit me is Boom Boom Satellite!

Morning after seems rather ironic here, because I was being stupid but it's solved now,

yet when seeing the title I didn't think it was a coincidence, but maybe thats just an ironic word joke.

So now searching for some new music I have now a total of 150 different artists I listen to (I know a lot more, but knowing them doesn't mean I like their music)

Look, its my itunes library! :3 I updated all the album arts, but since showing every album is ALOT, Im only showing the library sorted by artist ;D

Today is going to be a long long day,
going with my housemate to see her horse riding championships,
and tbh I don't feel like it at all,
I want to stay home and draw since I haven't been able too for a few days now,
and I still have a comic to finish.

Also I had the weirdest dream last night,
I dreamed that I was with my best friend Jelke, and we were at the venue KOKO, in london
when we were at the enrance, we figured we forgot our tickets, and we totally freaked out.
Then some guy came up and said he would help us get in, he distracted some guard and we sneaked in,
then inside it was completely empty, only Kyo was on the stage, and some chairs were there, and he said
"Go sit on the front else its useless for me to perform"
and then my alarm woke me up....
xD

One thing's for sure, I will NOT forget my ticket D: that part of my dream really creeped me out!

First blog.

There's nothing really I have to tell right now,

it's the second week of my summerbreak,

I finished my website layout: http://Esutick.com

Made a Blogger, I don't know for what reason because I have LJ too.

My ring finger and pinky are constantly giving me tingling feelings, and my elbow hurts like shit,

it's my left hand so it shouldn't matter much, but I won't be able to play bass with this feeling.

so I guess, I will have to visit a doctor..YUK.

I think i'm going to finish some more art this week,

and relax a bit with friends.
